The global R&D center "Hankook Technodome" in Korea serves as the central hub for Hankook's worldwide R&D infrastructure. It connects not only the regional technical centers ATC (American Technical Center), CTC (China Technical Center), JTO (Japan Technical Office), and the European Technical Center (ETC) in Hanover, but also the "Hankook Technotrac" for winter tire testing and a testing facility (Idiada, Spain) for summer tires. With a development center in Germany, a state-of-the-art factory and indoor testing facility in Hungary, and its own winter tire testing facility in Finland, Hankook represents a holistic approach to tire development and production in Europe.
